Duke Energy (NYSE: DUK) signed agreements with Siemens (NYSE: SI) and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) to provide wind turbines for the two phases of Duke's Los Vientos Windpower Project in Texas.

Siemens will provide 87 2.3 MW turbines for the 200 MW Los Vientos I project. MHI will supply 84 2.4 MW turbines for the 202 MW Los Vientos II project. Both sites expect to receive the first delivery by June 2012.
