Renewable Energy Generation Posts Profit In FY10

Renewable Energy Generation Limited announced its preliminary results for the year ended 30 June 2010 posting profit attributable to equity holders of GBP 2.46 million or 2.38 pence per share, compared to loss of GBP 9.11 million or 8.83 pence per share last year, following the disposal of its Canadian subsidiary and the recycling of foreign exchange reserves associated with the disposal.


Loss for the year from continuing operations was GBP 2.98 million or 2.89 pence per share, wider than GBP 2.06 million or 2 pence per share last year.


Loss on continuing operations before taxation was GBP 3.49 million, wider than GBP 2.35 million a year ago.


Revenue increased to GBP 6.2 million from GBP 5.59 million a year earlier.
