The scope of work included preparing feasibility reports, detailed project reports, engineering services, wind and solar resource assessment, estimation of energy yield, and optimization of plot sizing and layout.
Earlier, the state government of Gujarat had issued amendments to its wasteland allotment policy for wind, solar, and hybrid (wind and solar) power projects. According to the amendments, the renewable power project developers selected by the Solar Energy Corporation of India will have to commit to installing 50% of the total generation capacity in three years and 100% in five years.
