2011 Florida Renewable Energy announces Gainesville Tour Stop

The Florida Alliance for Renewable Energy is excited to announce the next confirmed tour stops in its 2011 Renewable Energy Tour which is set to feature discussions at the Ocora at Pugh Hall at University of Florida, and the Santa Fe College Charles R. Perry Construction Institute on Friday, February 25th 2011. The tour will consist of visits to various renewable energy and energy efficiency installations in the area as well as a Town Hall event including local and state legislators and industry experts, featuring discussions about advancing renewable energy and energy efficiency in Florida.


The 2011 Renewable Energy Tour will be traveling across Florida, visiting 10 cities in the month of February, leading up to the beginning of March legislative session. The tour will focus on renewable energy policy, and discussion will include local job creation, manufacturing and export, and local economic resurgence.
