CPS America has announced the opening of a new U.S. headquarters and innovation center near Dallas, Texas. The company says its new headquarters demonstrates a commitment to clean energy innovation in North America.

The new Innovation Center headquarters will house CPS Labs, the CPS America service team, Network Operations Center (NOC) and expanded warehouse services. The team will also provide on-site training for solar and energy storage providers.

“The CPS America team has worked incredibly hard to make our new headquarters a center for innovation,” said Bryan Wagner, general manager for CPS America. “Meeting the needs of our customers now while looking ahead to shape what’s next in solar and energy storage technology was our primary goal in designing this new space. We’re ready to meet the clean energy growth demands ahead and change we will see over the next decade.”

The centrally located headquarters near a major metropolitan airport not only allows the service team to respond quickly for on-site customer support, but also allows customers to travel to Texas with ease for hands-on trainings. CPS has been in Richardson, Texas, since starting a R&D Lab back in 2009.

The operations center (NOC) allows customers peace-of-mind, knowing advanced monitoring and control are at their fingertips. The NOC was built for growth as the clean energy industry expands distributed networking capabilities.

“Our knowledgeable team has often been able to spot issues before on-site personnel do,” said James Oswald, CPS America service director. “Alerting personnel to unusual energy patterns or deploying remote updates to save truck rolls have saved countless personnel hours.”

Last year, CPS sent over 15,000 commands remotely while keeping inverters up and running across 10,000+ solar plants in the USA.
