LDK to supply Enfinity with solar modules

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) – LDK Solar Co. said Monday it has signed a contract to supply solar modules to Belgium-based power company Enfinity.


Under the terms of the contract, the Chinese maker of solar energy equipment will deliver about 50 megawatts of solar modules to Enfinity in 2010, LDK said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.


U.S.-traded shares of LDK rose 36 cents, or 4.2 percent, to $8.92 in morning trading. The stock has ranged between $3.75 and $16.47 over the last 52 weeks.
