Wasabi Energy May Take 15% Stake in German Geothermal Project

Wasabi Energy Ltd. (WAS), a Melbourne- based company investing in renewable energy, agreed to help build a geothermal power plant in southern Germany and may take a stake of as much as a 15 percent in the project.

The company has signed a term sheet to jointly develop, own and operate the planned 4.5-megawatt project near Taufkirchen with Switzerland's Axpo Holding AG and Geysir Europe GmbH, Wasabi said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange today.
