Satcon Wins Contract for 10-Megawatt U.S. Solar Power Plant

Satcon Technology Corp., a solar- panel manufacturer, won a contract for the 10-megawatt New Jersey Oak Solar power plant.


Satcon will deliver 10 of its 1-megawatt "prism platform solutions" to the facility, constructed by units of Houston, Texas-based Quanta Services Inc., it said in a statement. The project is owned by Chicago-based Lincoln Renewable Energy LLC.


When completed this year, the plant at Fairfield Township, New Jersey, will be the largest non-utility owned solar development east of the Mississippi river, the company said.
