Rooftop solar energy project completed at office building

Applied Energy Technologies (AET) installed a 200 kW solar photovoltaic (PV) project at the BlueCross and BlueShield campus in Detroit.

The system uses 936 Schott 235 W solar panels from Inovateus Solar, which also supplied the inverters and the AET mounting system. Nova Consultants Inc. designed and engineered the array.

The project is part of DTE Energy's (NYSE: DTE) SolarCurrents program that calls for 15 MW of PV rooftop projects throughout Southeast Michigan.
