Renewable energy developments receive $191mn in funding

The state of New York is investing $191 million in 315 MW of wind, hydroelectric and landfill-to-gas projects through the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the state Public Service Commission.


The money will fund 17 projects, including four wind projects, four hydroelectric projects, seven landfill-to-gas developments and two anaerobic digester projects located at dairy farms.
