India Targets Addition of 2,400 MW of Wind Power This Fiscal

India is targeting the addition of 2,400 megawatts of wind energy capacity in the financial year ending March 31, Farooq Abdullah, minister for new and renewable energy said.


The country's installed wind power capacity was 14,723 megawatts as of July, Abdullah said in parliament in New Delhi.
