Draka wins Gode Wind II work

PNE WIND selected Draka Offshore to handle the subsea inter-array power system for the Gode Wind II offshore wind farm project, Draka said on 14 September 2010.



Under terms of the agreement, Draka will provide electrical engineering design of a complete power grid including subsea power cables, electrical accessories, installation and testing protocols for the Gode Wind II offshore wind farm.



The wind farm will feature 80 turbines, each capable of producing 3MW-5MW, will be located in the Germany sector of the North Sea.



PNE Wind aims to begin realization of the Gode Wind II project in 2011/2012.
