Doosan Heavy, Kepco Unit to Build Offshore Wind Farm in S. Korea

Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction Co., a unit of Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEP) and Posco ICT will build a 250 billion won offshore wind farm in Jeju Island, South Korea, according to an e-mailed statement by Doosan. The companies signed a memorandum of understanding for the 60-megawatt wind farm which may be completed by June, 2014.
