Chinese producer Phono Solar achieves leading PV USA ratings

Phono Solar (Nanjing, China), announced that its 240 watt mono solar photovoltaic (PV) panel ranks among the top one percent in PV USA (PTC) ratings.

PTC ratings are quickly becoming a universally accepted standard for measuring real-world PV module power and performance and measure a PV system's real solar output in what are considered true solar and climate variable conditions, Phono Solar emphasizes.

The California Energy Commission's (CEC) list of modules includes PTC ratings, which are defined by laboratory tests conducted to establish their real-world performance rating.

Top real-world efficiency

"Our PTC ratings illustrate our commitment to providing leading-edge, high quality solar modules," says Chris Kamykowski, President of Phono Solar USA.

"Of over 950 modules listed by the CEC that carry a 25-year warranty and three percent or better negative tolerance, Phono Solar's 240 watt mono panel is in the top one percent for real-world efficiency. These ratings, coupled with our efficient manufacturing facilities and industry-leading quality controls, enable us to provide extremely reliable yet cost effective solar panels to the end user."

Phono Solar on own account is able to achieve these ratings thanks to their strong research and development team and commitment to using high-quality components in their module production. Their integrated inspection and superior control processes ensure each module produced matches the high standards Phono Solar is recognized for.

Phono Solar provides its products with a 25-year warranty, which is backed by the Sumec group, whose financial strengths and resources are internationally recognized since its inception in 1978.
