Gunkul Engineering Agrees to Construct 8-Megawatt Solar Project

Gunkul Engineering PCL (GUNKUL), a Thai engineering company, signed an agreement with CK & Sun Energy Co. to construct a 8-megawatt solar power project at Muang in Burirum province, according to a stock exchange filing.


The value of the engineering, procurement and construction contract is 725 million baht ($24 million) and the plant is expected to be completed by July 2012, according to the filing.
