Saint-Gobain buys Solar Gard

The acquisition covers Solar Gard's facilities in San Diego (USA), Zulte (Belgium), Suzhou (China), the operations under development in China and all sales and service centres world wide.


Solar Gard develops, manufactures and distributes window films and other speciality films including for solar photovoltaic (PV) applications.


The deal is expected to close during 2011.
