Horizon Signs 102-MW PPA with PG&E

Horizon Wind Energy LLC has entered into a long-term agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) to sell wind energy from its Rattlesnake Road project through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).The project will have an installed capacity of 102.9 megawatts (MW).

Located in Gilliam County, Oregon, the Rattlesnake Road Wind Farm will deliver close to 240 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity annually. The project is currently under construction and Horizon expects it to start producing energy for delivery to PG&E in late 2008.
