Egypt Investing to Reach 20% Renewables Target, Mubarak Says

Egypt is investing to reach its target of 20 percent of renewable energy, President Hosni Mubarak said in a speech in Milan today.


The country’s Kuraymat solar power station, due to open next year, is part of a plan to reduce reliance on oil.
