BrightSource's 392 MW Ivanpah CSP plant 25% complete

BrightSource Energy is already a quarter on the way of completing its 392 MW Ivanpah concentrating solar power (CSP) plant in the Mojave Desert, CA, USA, which is expected to be finished next year.

The power output from the CSP plant will be sold to Pacific Gas and Electric and Southern California Edison.

Towards the end of 2011, BrightSource decided to add energy storage to the CSP project.
