Indian renewables developer ACME Solar Holdings Ltd (BOM:544283) has won 50 MW of capacity in a 250-MW tender for Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) held by an electricity distribution unit of Tata Power Co Ltd (BOM:500400).
ACME Solar said today it has received a letter of award (LOA) for the aforementioned capacity at a tariff of INR 4.43 (USD 0.050/EUR 0.043) per kWh. The e-reverse auction took place on August 13, 2025.
The company expects to sign a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) after which it will have 24 months to commission the project. It will combine multiple renewable energy technologies, including solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS), and will need to ensure four hours of peak-hour supply with 90% availability on a monthly basis.
