Balance of systems manufacturer Shoals opens Tennessee factory

Shoals Technologies, an electrical balance of systems (EBOS) solutions provider for solar, storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Portland, Tennessee.

The new 219,000-sq-ft facility, which is expected to be operational in Q2 2022, will double Shoals’ manufacturing capacity.

“Our new facility will allow us to optimize our manufacturing lines to increase operational efficiency, expand production capacity and bring new innovations to market to deliver even more value to our customers,” said Jason Whitaker, CEO of Shoals Technologies Group.
