The Agency for New & Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) has invited bids to register vendors for the installation of solar projects in Kerala.
The scope of work includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar power projects in the state.
The last date to submit the bids is January 15, 2022. Bids will be opened on January 17.
The validity of the list will be for two years.
The ANERT program includes the installation of grid-connected, off-grid, and hybrid solar power projects for beneficiaries who have applied for such installations.
ANERT is the nodal agency for implementing solar projects in public buildings and proposed Solar City at Thiruvananthapuram. All activities undertaken by ANERT will be executed through these listed vendors.
Deposit works entrusted to ANERT by various institutions and firms to install grid-connected or off-grid rooftop solar projects would be another category of ANERT programs during this period. Only vendors listed through this process would be eligible for executing such works. Bids will be collected based on site conditions separately.
ANERT will be acting as a project management consultant for government institutions that want to install solar projects under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model.
Bids will be invited for various capacities of grid-connected and off-grid solar power projects as and when required.
The successful bidder should complete the installation of the project and provide the commissioning report within three months after receiving the order.
During the installation of the solar project, the presence of an accredited solar installer certified by ANERT is mandatory. If the agency or the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor intends to engage a third-party contractor for fabrication, details of such contractor have to be filed with ANERT. The subcontractor should also engage certified installers for installation.
The bidder should have service centers or authorized service providers in all districts of Kerala, with a minimum of three service centers in the northern, central, and southern regions. The bidder should not have been blacklisted or declared ineligible for corrupt or fraudulent practices by any state or government agencies.
The EPC contractor should use only those solar modules that are listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM) issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.
Last October, ANERT invited bids from empanelled agencies for the rate contract of 10 MW of solar power projects.
Earlier, ANERT issued a request for selection (RfS) for 6 MW of grid-connected ground-mounted solar systems in Palakkad, Kerala.
According to Mercom’s India Solar Tender Tracker, ANERT has so far floated tenders for 30.5 MW of solar power projects.
