Ukraine to raise EUR1 billion to build alternative energy facilities

Ukrainian Journal quoted Mr Yaroslav Adamenko the head of the ecology department at Ivano-Frankivsk National technical University of Oil and Gas said it is planned to raise EUR 1 billion to build alternative energy facilities in Ukraine.

He said that "According to the forecasts of the state agency for energy efficiency and energy saving, in 2012 EUR 1 billion is to be raised to build alternative energy facilities. In 2013, the figure should be quintupled."
