Sharp to build 100 MW solar PV on Bali?

Sharp and the Government of Indonesia have agreed on the construction of 100 MW of solar photovoltaics (PV) on Bali, according to media reports.


The investment is expected to be in the range of US$2.5-3 million per MW and the electricity is to be sold to PT Perushahaan Listrik Negara of Jakarta.


Feasibility studies are currently being undertaken.
