Spain Raises 2009 Cap on Solar Energy Plants, Cinco Dias Says

Spain raised the limit on solar energy production to 500 megawatts for next year and 400 megawatts for 2010, Cinco Dias reported.


The proposal limits annual production to 100 megawatts for solar parks and 200 megawatts for panels on buildings, the paper said. For next year, it includes adding 200 megawatts for solar parks and for 2010 another 100 megawatts, the paper said.
