SJVN Green Floats EPC Tender for 500 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan

SJVN Green Energy (SGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, has invited bids for engineering procurement and construction (EPC) of 500 MW solar projects near the 220 kV Bikaner-IV substation at Ambaran, in Rajasthan.
SGEL signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Punjab State Power Corporation for the supply of 1,000 MW of solar power from grid-connected projects. The tendered capacity is part of this PPA.
Bids must be submitted by September 12, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ?265 million (~$3.04 million) for 250 MW and ?530 million (~$6.08 million) for 500 MW solar power projects.
They must also submit a document fee of ?5,000 (~$57.43).
Bidders must bid for at least 250 MW.
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, procurement, testing, transportation, supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar projects. It also covers identifying and acquiring the project land and transferring its ownership or sub-lease in favor of SGEL.
Selected bidders must develop the associated power evacuation system up to the interconnection point. They must also conduct civil and electrical works, securing permits and licenses, and obtaining insurance at all stages.
The scope of work also involves packing, forwarding, receipt, unloading, storage, performance demonstration, operational acceptance, and comprehensive services for the projects.
