Trina Solar helps Thai manufacturer install 4026.88kW of photovoltaic power

Recently, a 4,026.88kW commercial and industrial photovoltaic project was successfully completed on the rooftop of PETCHKASEM WEAVING, a renowned denim manufacturer in Thailand. Trina Solar provided the project’s high-efficiency Supreme N-type modules, with TradeRich responsible for system design and installation. This project has established a highly valuable green, scenario-based demonstration case for the textile industry.

PETCHKASEM is a leading denim company in Thailand, producing over 50 million yards of fabric annually. Its production lines are subject to high temperatures, high humidity, and continuous operation around the clock, placing stringent demands on the stability and efficiency of the photovoltaic system. Trina Solar, with a deep understanding of the electricity usage and spatial characteristics of textile manufacturing, tailored a scenario-based photovoltaic solution based on Supreme N-type modules for this project, achieving the dual goals of energy conservation and cost reduction while also reducing carbon emissions and increasing efficiency.

The Supreme N-type modules used in this project not only offer high power, high bifaciality, and excellent low-irradiance performance, but also possess excellent temperature adaptability, making them robust enough to withstand the complex rooftop conditions of industrial plants and tropical climates. This scenario-specific photovoltaic solution, designed specifically for the textile industry, not only meets the factory’s high electricity demands but also maximizes the rooftop’s usable area.

The project is expected to provide the factory with over 4.56 million kWh of clean electricity annually, significantly reducing operating costs and carbon emissions, effectively supporting the company’s transition to green and low-carbon manufacturing. As a key player in the midstream and upstream textile industry chain, PETCHKASEM, through this partnership, has not only significantly enhanced its image as a sustainable manufacturer but also set a new benchmark for clean energy applications in the regional industry.

Leveraging technological innovation, system integration, and a global service network, Trina Solar has not only established a benchmark for scenario-specific applications in the textile sector, but has also widely applied its Supreme N-type modules in a variety of scenarios, including manufacturing, logistics and warehousing, commercial complexes, and agricultural greenhouses, creating a comprehensive photovoltaic solution that meets the needs of diverse industries. Going forward, Trina Solar will continue to promote green upgrades in the manufacturing industry and help more companies achieve their vision of “zero-carbon factories.”
