Jinko ESS partners with Filkab to launch dual-track energy storage strategy in Bulgaria

Jinko ESS has announced the signing of a contract with leading Bulgarian energy solutions provider Filkab to implement a dual-track energy storage strategy aimed at mitigating grid fluctuations and improving the country’s energy reliability and integration of renewables. The agreement covers the supply of its Jinko ESS G2 for utility-scale energy storage systems and SunGiga solutions tailored for C&I applications.
Roberto Murgioni, Jinko ESS GM for Europe, commented: “This dual deployment strategy empowers Filkab to deliver tailored energy storage solutions to a wide range of customers — from grid operators to commercial and industrial users. Filkab’s dedication to driving the green transition through innovation aligns seamlessly with our own mission: to take responsibility for a sustainable future by delivering comprehensive clean energy solutions. We are excited to join forces with a partner who shares our values and vision for a sustainable future, optimizing grid efficiency and supporting business needs.”
Filkab GM Slav Landov added: “Partnering with Jinko ESS allows us to scale our clean energy impact across Bulgaria with proven, bankable storage technologies. With the flexibility of Jinko ESS G2 for grid-scale applications and SunGiga for our C&I clients, we’re unlocking new value streams while supporting grid stability and decarbonization.
