SolarServ Protect now offering 10-year solar labor warranty

SolarServ Protect has announced a comprehensive 10-year labor warranty designed to eliminate confusion for customers purchasing solar systems.

While manufacturers typically provide 25-year warranties on their products, many customers — both residential and commercial — assume this coverage includes labor. In reality, manufacturer warranties generally apply only to hardware, leaving installation and service-related costs uncovered. SolarServ Protect bridges this gap, offering a fully insured warranty that protects both installers and homeowners.

Backed by an A-rated insurance carrier, SolarServ Protect gives solar dealers and installers confidence in their labor warranties while providing customers with clarity and peace of mind. Additionally, the warranty is fully transferable, ensuring continued coverage even if the property changes ownership.

“Our mission is to provide a warranty solution that eliminates misunderstandings and builds trust between installers and system owners,” said Kevin Carr, VP of sales at SolarServ Protect. “With full insurance coverage and transferability, SolarServ Protect is setting a new standard for labor warranties in the solar industry.”
