JinkoSolar, a world-leading photovoltaic and energy storage company, announced today that it has successfully signed a German photovoltaic and energy storage project. The project uses Jinko’s 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system and efficient Tiger Neo series photovoltaic modules. The project includes a 66.5MWh energy storage system and a 19MW Tiger Neo series of high-efficiency modules, fully demonstrating Jinko’s determination to promote innovation and global renewable energy solutions.

The project highlights the powerful synergy between Jinko’s 5MWh liquid-cooled energy storage system and Tiger Neo series photovoltaic modules. Compared with conventional energy storage, the industry-leading intelligent liquid cooling system can control the temperature difference between batteries to 2 degrees Celsius, greatly improving the system’s performance and product life. More importantly, it improves equipment safety and minimizes the potential fire hazards caused by overcharging and over-discharging due to uneven temperature differences. The energy storage system is equipped with Tiger Neo series modules, providing German customers with a stable, efficient and sustainable energy solution. In addition, JinkoSolar’s energy storage system has been rigorously designed and tested to fully comply with Germany’s stringent local electrical standards, ensuring seamless compliance and safe and reliable operation under Germany’s demanding regulatory framework.

“This project is an important milestone in our journey to create innovative and scalable renewable energy solutions,” said Li Yan, Vice President of JinkoSolar Energy Storage. “We combine liquid-cooled energy storage technology with high-efficiency photovoltaic modules, fully demonstrating the diversity and impact of our integrated ‘PV + energy storage’ solution.”
