Mitrex releases solar panel designs that mimic roof style

Mitrex Integrated Solar Technology has released its Solar Roof panels — traditionally sized solar panels with a customizable tempered glass to mimic the roof design.

Mitrex Solar Roof panels come in four popular roofing patterns, such as asphalt and slate designs. The solar cells are sandwiched underneath a customizable tempered glass facing layer. An anti-soiling coating minimizes the accumulation of dust and dirt on the panels. Solar Roof comes with a 25-year product and performance warranty. The solar panels are similar in size to 72-cell panels. The Black Asphalt module is rated at 300 W while the Black Slate modules have a 350-W rating.
