Two-week bidding extension for SCCL’s 81 MW solar

Developers now have 14 more days to submit bids for 34 MW (AC) ground based, 32 MW (AC) over-burden dump based and 15 MW (AC) floating solar plants at Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) sites in Telangana state.

The Solar Energy Corporation of India has yet again extended the bidding deadline for an aggregate 81 MW solar capacity to be developed at coal miner Singareni Collieries Company Limited’s different sites in Telangana.

Bidding for 34 MW (AC) ground based solar project has been allowed until June 26—against the previous deadline of June 12. The 34 MW grid-connected, ground-mounted projects—to be set on turnkey basis—shall come up at SCCL’s Chennur (11 MW) and Kothagudam (23 MW) sites.

Bids for 32 MW (AC) solar plant can be submitted till June 29 against the previous deadline of June 15. The grid-interactive solar capacity—to be developed on turnkey basis—shall come up at SCCL’s over burden dump at Ramagundam (22 MW) and Dorli (10 MW) sites in Peddapalli district of Telangana.

The deadline for 15 MW (AC) floating solar has been extended to July 1 against the previous deadline of June 17. The capacity—to be developed in turnkey mode—shall come up at Singareni Thermal Power Plant storage reservoir (10 MW) and Dorli open-cast project void (5 MW).

Each of the three capacities shall be awarded to a single bidder selected after reverse auction. However, there will be separate contract agreements for the separate sites.
