Sonnedix’s 38.2 MW Photovoltaic Portfolio Acquisitions

Watson Farley & Williams advised Sonnedix on the acquisition of two Spanish photovoltaic portfolios.

The portfolio comprised 21 operating PV plants with a 26.9 MW aggregate capacity, from a global asset manager, and a nine PV-plant portfolio with a combined capacity of 11.3 MW from Perwyn, a family-funded investment firm. The transactions closed in December and November 2019 respectively.

Sonnedix is a leading global independent solar power producer, with a 1.8 GW portfolio of projects worldwide, both operational and under development. With these acquisitions, Sonnedix now has 252 MW of operational assets in Spain.
