East China’s largest single photovoltaic project has been put into operation

On December 22, 2019, CGN’s 260MW fishery-solar hybrid project which was built by Anhui NO.1 Electric Power Construction Co.,Ltd. at Shuangtan Lake, Dalong Town, Dangtu County and with Central Southern China Electric Power Design Institute as the EPC contractor was successfully connected to the grid and generated electricity, achieving the contract schedule goals in advance.

The project is located in Shuangtan Lake, Dalong Town, Dangtu County, Anhui Province, with a water surface of about 6000 mu and a installed capacity of 260MW. The project is the first batch of subsidy-free projects approved by the National Development and Reform Commission in 2019. It is the largest single photovoltaic parity project in East China. This project adopts the design of high pile platform of prestressed pipe pile and the layout of large elevated platform innovatively, and saves construction cost by optimizing the overall plane design, scientific layout and intensive land use.

In the project construction, Central Southern China Electric Power Design Institute has always implemented the concept of “green, ecological and environmental protection”. By carrying out environmental monitoring and greening work, it has built environment-friendly power stations and improved the overall environmental landscape, striving to make Dangtu photovoltaic project a national benchmark and industry model.
