Kstar launched at the 20th East Africa Future Energy Exhibition

Source:KSTAR

The 20th Future Energy East Africa (formerly East Africa Power Show) was held in Nairobi, Kenya on September 17, 2019. The world-renowned power electronics company Kstar showcased the data center key infrastructure (UPS, battery, precision power distribution, precision air conditioning) series and photovoltaic inverter series products to the audience to bring a wonderful experience.

The main source of electricity generation in Kenya, where the conference was held, was hydropower, accounting for 47.8% of the total electricity generated. However, during the dry season, the water and electricity supply is extremely unstable! In response to this problem, Kstar showed stable and reliable power products to local users: UPS, battery, photovoltaic inverter, and so on. As the sixth largest UPS shipment in the world, Kstar’s ups products have attracted widespread attention.

Among them, YDC3300 series (10-200K), high reliability, strong carrying capacity, has more than 100,000 units of shipments and patented inverter design (patent number: 200710124154.1). The overall efficiency is up to 95%, two percentage points higher than similar products.

The battery series products can improve energy efficiency, greatly eliminate harmonic pollution of UPS to the main power grid, and reduce UPS operating costs. Worked with Kstar UPS, it is energy efficient and makes the control system more stable and reliable.

With the development of national urbanization and industrialization, the demand for electric energy in East Africa has been expanding. It is estimated that by 2020, electricity demand in East Africa will grow at a rate of 5.3% per year, and its rapidly growing demand for electricity does not match its region’s poor power supply and maintenance capabilities. At this juncture, Kstar has taken aim at the opportunity to carry out business in related fields and bring tangible convenience to the local community.
