Trina Solar's modules fulfil Italian feed-in tariff requirements

Trina Solar Ltd's multicrystalline solar photovoltaic (PV) modules manufactured with European-sourced silicon wafers have been certified by the Italian institute ICIM and fulfil GSE requirements for a 10% feed-in tariff premium in Italy.

Trina Solar fulfils the most recent revisions to the GSE from December 2011.

The ICIM certification process included the inspection of two factories and two tests of the final product. The ICIM auditors checked the ongoing production of Trina Solar's silicon wafer suppliers in Europe, as well as its ongoing production of solar PV modules with European-sourced silicon wafers.

All certified Trina Solar modules will include the ICIM factory inspection logo on the name plate.

Trina Solar's ICIM certified solar PV modules can be used for residential, commercial and utility applications.
